PortFest is a free community celebration and waterfront festival that takes place the first Saturday in October. The annual event welcomes the community to learn about Redwood City’s maritime heritage and the history of our industrial working waterfront.

CASA CIRCULO CULTURAL, in partnership with the San Mateo County History Museum and the Friends of the Library, and in collaboration with Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation, hosts the 7th Annual Celebration of Day of the Dead- Dia de los Muertos on Redwood City’s Courthouse Square.

Salsa music, salsa dancing, and salsa tasting are at the forefront, featuring three stages with a variety of music, including Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Reggae.

Kids and families will love the Hands on the Arts crafts area, everyone will enjoy trying authentic Mexican food from local restaurants, and there will be an authentic Flag Ceremony conducted by Consul General de Mexico.
