The Show Must Go On! Drive-in

We are excited to announce that The Zoppé Italian Family Circus is back this Fall, welcoming guests into a classic drive-in style show featuring live performances! This year, we have a new location at the Port of Redwood City from October 1 through October 25 for matinee and evening showtimes. For 2020, Zoppé brings a show timely referred to as “The Show Must Go On”. This one-ring circus honors the best history of their 178-year-old Old-World Italian tradition and stars Nino the Clown, along with many other thrilling acts. Uniquely intertwining historic footage and live performances, this is a show only a pandemic could create. The Zoppé Circus has survived previous pandemics and even world wars… the show must go on! 

This is a historic show for the greater circus community. 178 years and seven generations of the Zoppé Family uphold the love and fun of their uniquely intimate show. Zoppé is at the forefront of what circus has to offer humanity, while pointedly keeping in touch with true circus tradition.

Come. Find out for yourself why this circus is historic. Feel the drum of the horse's hooves thunder through your body as the largest horses Redwood City has ever seen ride past your car and around the ring. Hold your breath as our trapeze troupe display impeccable timing, graceful strength, and sheer bravery. Everyone is welcome to this once in a lifetime (hopefully) drive-in circus experience.  The Zoppé family shares its home and story with you as you enter the show. Everyone leaves with a smile, warm heart, and their own story to discover and tell. This is not an experience to be missed, especially during this incredibly unique year!

The Circus Performances will take place at the Port of Redwood City, at 459 Seaport Court, with views of the beautiful San Francisco Bay.
