Redwood City is proud to offer our kids music series for a sixth year! For FOUR Sundays this summer, the ubiquitous Andy-Z will be the Master of Music and Play by bringing his high energy to Courthouse Square. Sponsored by Redwood City's Public Library and Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, this series will provide a safe and fun environment for kids to dance and enjoy live music along with an inflatable play-land this summer! 

About Emcee "MC" Andy Z
Redwood City-born kindie-rock artist Andy Z literally feels right at home MC'ing kids rock concert series, Kidchella. In addition to performing live for hundreds of audiences every year, and at such prominent national music festivals as Strings Music Festival in Colorado and Austin City Limits Festival in Texas, he has guest deejayed on the national radio shows Spare The Rock Spoil The Child and Hilltown Family Variety Show. As a celebrity, he appeared with Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson) at the joint event "Stars In The Park", and with San Francisco Giants mascot “Lou Seal”, leading the Highlander Little League Opening Day crowd in a rousing rendition of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”.

Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies

 Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies is a FUN, Funky, Hip Hop, Rockin' and Rollin' Band based in Silicon Valley that will once again bring its FUN interactive experience for kids and kids of all ages, to the full-grown movers and shakers!  Started by Josh Friedman (Purple Fox Josh), this live phunktastic band is excited about its return engagement to Kidchella. Come on by for the FUN, singing and dancing, and more!!
