Día San José is a much needed San José celebration that promotes our resilient cultural pride. Our goal is to produce a downtown destination festival that center stages our traditions, while creating new ones that are relevant today.
Save the date for Community Day: Día de Los Muertos, a full day of live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and an eclectic mix of artmaking experiences. Join us as we collaborate with local artists, partners, and organizations for this truly intracultural and multigenerational event! Museum admission is free all day.
The community event is held at The School of Arts and Culture at The Mexican Heritage Plaza and features kids activities, live entertainment, food trucks, arts & crafts, face painters, vendors, an ofrenda (offering space), shopping, contests and more.
