CLASSES
TinkerTech teaches early design and engineering skills through hands-on activities to students ages 4-12 including those from low income communities. We can offer scholarships for many of our classes and are looking to share our curriculum with non-profit partners - for more info, please reach out by email to hello@tinkertech.me.
We offer hands-on, project-based learning experiences for students in grades 5-8. And cultivate a learning environment aimed to develop students' growth mindset and grit.

MV GATE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, founded and supported by Marin parents who believe in bringing enhanced learning opportunities to our kids, now, and in partnership with our schools. We believe that 1) our kids’ gifts and talents can be best nurtured through empowering challenges and support; 2) that our own community represents a great and largely untapped resource in our kids’ education; and 3) that today's kids, if they are going to be happy and successful, must develop a richer set of cognitive and life skills than any previous generation.
Apple Stores will participate in Hour of Code with daily coding sessions in celebration of Computer Science Education Week. Young aspiring coders can learn coding basics during a Kids Hour session, while those age twelve and above can use Swift Playgrounds on iPad to learn coding concepts and even program robots. A new Teacher Tuesdays session helps educators learn how to teach code to students using new resources and discussion topics.
Microsoft Store's free reading and STEM workshops for ages six and up use the latest Microsoft technology to build confidence for participants of all skill levels.
At iD Tech, kids and teens of all skill levels discover coding, AI, machine learning, film, robotics, and game design, developing the in-demand skills needed to compete at top Bay Area companies like Twitter, Apple, Facebook, Google, Adobe, and more. CLUBS
Girls Who Code works to educate, inspire, and equip young women with the skills and resources to pursue academic and career opportunities in computing fields.
CoderDojo is a free computer programming club for young people ages 8-17. Come and learn basic computer programming, play with robots, or work on your own project. We meet on the last Friday of every month from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.
Reaching Out With Robotics is leading a series of fun and challenging robotics workshops. Join and learn about robotics and computer science using Sphero robots!
We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 3-5 pm.
Let’s get coding! Whether you want to learn a new language or master one you already know we’ll help you on your journey. Platforms used: Scratch, Vidcode, Processing, & Arduino.
Middle school girls bridge the gender gap and build confidence through technology with hands-on skill building using circuits, laser cutting, 3D modeling, coding, and art. LunaTech meets every Thursday in the Makerspace.
