Are you interested in homeschooling and want more information?

The Bay Area Homeschool Fair provides resources and information for homeschooling families as well as those who are interested in learning more about educational alternatives in Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area. This year's fair will be different than in the past with our new online format, and we still offer a chance for our attendees to connect with local resources, programs, charter schools, and Private School Satellite Programs (PSPs).

Sue Patterson Coaching

Sue Patterson unschooled her three now-grown children. She shares her 20+ years of experience with parents who are looking for information, support and confidence on their homeschooling journey. You can find Sue in the Unschooling Mom2Mom social media platforms. Her coaching practice includes group and 1:1 coaching, an online course, and a variety of helpful guides.

Amir Nathoo, Outschool

Jeremy Stuart

Jeremy Stuart directed, co- produced and edited his first feature length documentary, Class Dismissed which has gone to screen in more than 60 countries worldwide and has been translated into 5 languages.

Homeschool 101

Julie Mink Schiffman, M.Ed. has over 25 years of experience working with children and families throughout her career from public school teacher to homeschool advocate. An active member of her community, she is passionate about sharing the joys of living life without school and has helped hundreds of families make their transition into homeschooling through her work as president/founder of Marin Homeschoolers (501c7) as well as her volunteer service for California Homeschool Network (CHN), the Alternative Education Resource Organization (AERO), and as a former member of the Board of Directors for HomeSchool Association of California (HSC).

Post-speaker Discussion Rooms

Virtual Vendor Hall, 12:30PM PST

There will be a short break at the conclusion of the speakers' presentations and continue at 12:30PM in the Virtual Vendor Hall with a Charter School Chat Room and PSP Spotlight. Attendees will have an opportunity to link up with representatives from our vendors who will be available to chat and answer questions about their offerings.
