Celebrate the season with friends and family on December 2 at dusk, with the lighting of a towering 55 foot-tall, living Norfolk Island pine. This tree-lighting has been a park tradition since 1991, and one that originally began in 1957 with military families stationed in the park when the land was a US Army base. Enjoy a quiet moment with the holiday lights, which will shine each night throughout December.

Join us later in the day from 4:30pm-6pm for our Hanukkah Celebration! This celebration includes the menorah lighting, rabbi reading, and delicious Hanukkah treats!

The Nob Hill landmark hotel hosts a complimentary Tree Lighting Ceremony with a Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area child featuring visits with Santa and hosted by Betty Yu and Liam Mayclem of KPIX-TV.

The Nob Hill Association will host its 51st consecutive Tree Lighting Ceremony in its traditional format this year, in person at Huntington Park.

This family-friendly event gives everyone in the community the opportunity to celebrate the magic of winter and the joy of giving thanks.
