The Nob Hill Association will host its 51st consecutive Tree Lighting Ceremony in its traditional format this year, in person at Huntington Park.
The French American Jazz Quartet will play live music, and refreshments are provided by the InterContinental Mark Hopkins, Fairmont San Francisco and The Ritz-Carlton.
The ceremony will begin with an opening prayer from Grace Cathedral’s Dean Malcolm Young and will feature remarks from Supervisor Aaron Peskin and City Attorney David Chiu. Awards will be made to our SFPD and SFFD Protectors of the Year. The event concludes with a special presentation to Raphael House, which since 1971 has been helping low-income families and families experiencing homelessness to strengthen family bonds by achieving stable housing and financial independence.
All are welcome to kick off the holiday season at this free neighborhood event. In the event of bad weather, the ceremony moves indoors to Grace Cathedral.
