Get Ready for a Youth Takeover!
/Youth are taking over KQED! From April 23 - 27, tune in to our first Youth Takeover, where KQED programs will feature stories pitched, produced and reported by youth from high schools all over the Bay Area. This initiative will span across KQED radio, television and online. This multimedia event will be hosted by Myles Bess from KQED's YouTube series, Above the Noise. Other guests include: Sasha Khokha, Host of KQED's The California Report, and Sam Sanders, Host of NPR's It's Been A Minute.
Then on Friday, April 27, join us for Youth Takeover Live, a special evening where students will take the stage to discuss the stories that matter to them, from the youth perspective. Experience the takeover LIVE at our special multimedia event, where student voices deliver and discuss today’s most urgent stories, from the youth perspective.
