Women's Heritage Day

  • History Park 635 Phelan Avenue San Jose, CA, 95112 United States (map)

We're celebrating on Saturday, March 9th with our second annual Women's Heritage Day Event!

This year, Mosaic America will be hosting diverse cultural performances and workshops in front of the Pacific Hotel. La Raza Historical Society will be curating live poetry readings in the Empire Firehouse and a woman-owned lowrider show, with Mas Dulce as the Emcee and DJ. History San José will be offering interactive craft stations that highlight local historical figures, with our historic buildings and indoor exhibitions open to the public. The Chinese Historical & Cultural Project will have presentations and a film screening at the Ng Shing Gung, PLUS a variety of fantastic outdoor vendors and community organization booths will be available throughout History Park!

Complimentary meals will be given to attendees who register and check into the event (first-come, first-serve). Delicious drinks and treats will be available for purchase at O'Brien's, through woman-owned business Pennylane Sweets & Treats.
Don't miss this festive, family-friendly community gathering as we honor the achievements and contributions of women throughout Santa Clara Valley's history!
