Our 7th annual adventure documentary film festival, Throckmorton Theatre Mountainfilm (TTMF), opens November 30 and runs thru December 2nd, 2018. This year we raise the bar with these rich, adventure-packed, and inspiring films! All films are carefully curated to be shown along with special guest speakers, parties and conversations. Come and be inspired!
TTMF screens feature documentaries on environmental issues, epic adventures, eye-opening politics and humanitarian causes. We set the stage for important conversations about the world we live in and we seek to inspire audiences to action on worthy causes. TTMF brings together special guests, filmmakers, film subjects, artists, activists, and other luminaries for a celebration of the indomitable spirit.
Children ages 6 to 12 will enjoy the Kidz Kino program, which is geared towards this age group. Older children will enjoy and learn from most of the regular festival programs. Documentaries are not given ratings, but much of the content would garner a PG or PG-13 rating. Pay special attention to film descriptions; some films delve deeply into challenging content — such as war, slavery, or poverty — and the description will help you make a decision based on your child.
