We’ll start the day with a look at the frogs, toads, and newts that breed here, then we’ll slowly ascend to the ridge, stopping all along the way to enjoy flowers, birds, and other wild wonders. We’ll pass through an area that is carpeted with a plant known as Indian warrior; with luck, it will be in full bloom. Total miles: 3.5. Elevation change: 400’. Remember to bring lunch, and binoculars if you have them. No pets (except service dogs) are allowed.
