Lace up your hiking boots, pack a hot beverage, grab your flashlight, and bring your bestie to this month’s full moon hike. March’s full moon, rising two days before the spring equinox, is known as the “worm moon,” for the earthworms that are often seen wriggling to the surface during the spring rain showers. Let’s hope for an abundance of rain in March, but clear skies during this popular event.
Naturalist Harold Hirsch will guide us on this moderately strenuous hike to a stunning vista point, where we will watch the radiant moon rise over the San Francisco Bay.
