The Chinatown YMCA CCHP Lunar New Year Run gives participants a rare opportunity to run through San Francisco Chinatown’s historic (and slightly hilly) streets, taking in the architecture, scents, and sounds of a bustling and vibrant community.
Named one of the top ten Parades in the world by International Festivals & Events Association, the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco is one of the few remaining night illuminated Parades in North America and the biggest parade celebrating the lunar new year outside of Asia.
This year's Lantern Festival brought over 3000 attendees, and we're so excited to be collaborating with oakland Bloom to host a two-day Lantern Festival in 2024, from February 24-25, in Oakland Chinatown.
Lunar New Year Festival is back on Fourth Street after a brief pause and we are thrilled to experience this family friendly event with you in celebration of Year of the Dragon!
Redwood City, its Parks Recreation and Community Services Department, and partner Redwood City International will be hosting the 10th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration!
