Does the thought of reading epic poetry make your head spin? Fear not, for cartoonist Alexis Fajardo casts a lively, new take on these classic narratives in his 'Kid Beowulf' graphic novel series. Follow the exploits of teen brothers Beowulf and Grendel as they travel far and wide encountering legendary heroes, villains, and monsters from the literature of long ago. It's a great way to discover (or re-discover) these larger-than-life tales.
Admission is free. Lex will be signing books following his presentation.
