Celebrate Earth Day weekend on Saturday, April 22, by supporting local farms at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and planting a seed for the future!

Join us at the Foodwise Classroom (the green tent in front of the Ferry Building) to plant herb, flower, or veggie seeds for the season ahead. We’ll supply starter trays, potting mix, and seeds, and share tips for caring for your seeds once you get them home. 

This activity is suited for children ages five and up, but we’ll have coloring pages and mini farmers market totes (while supplies last) for kids of all ages.
