Rituals honoring the dead vary across cultures but share sacred significance as rites of passage. Celebrate and learn how the the Bay Area's Latino and Filipino communities commemorate lost loved ones and share your own tokens of remembrance with a day of collaborative Día de Los Muertos altar-making at KQED and poetry created in partnership with Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts and the Filipino Service Providers Network.
