Families are invited to the Presidio Visitor Center on Saturday, November 2, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., to explore the traditions and cultural connections between two ancestral celebrations, Dia de los Muertos and Diwali. Come learn about the traditional foods, art activities, and participate in a fire ceremony. Enjoy paper flower making, henna artwork, facepainting, and remember loved ones by sharing a special message to add to the altar and fire ceremony. Interact with park staff through engaging activities shared through the Roving Ranger.
