Join us with immense joy as we return to celebrate the 6th Annual community Día De Los Muertos celebration right here in San Anselmo and the beautiful Ross Valley!
🕯️ Starting this Monday October 23, through Thursday November the 2nd Dia de Los Muertos, we will have the community altar (Los ofrendas) on the Taco Jane's front patio, where we strongly encourage our community to participate by placing photos, favorite foods, drinks, fragrances, flowers, or anything that invokes their spirit,
*In addition we will have extra picture frames for those that mayneed them.
The ofrendas represent a remembrance of the departed, a reminder that life is eternal and that presence of the deceased loved one is everlasting. The ofrendas speak of affection toward the departed and are an expression of love towards life.
The heart of Día de los Muertos lies in our collective coming together to celebrate life, to playfully embrace the impermanence of existence, and to pay homage to those who have journeyed beyond.
Our community altar will find its place of honor on the Taco Jane's Restaurant & Bar patio, starting this Monday October 23 to Thursday November 2nd, 2023.
In the spirit of unity and togetherness, let us celebrate life's tapestry and the strength of our community.
