Wait, where did my art go? Campers explore ephemeral art by creating artworks using materials that change with the passage of time. Sample art projects include ice sculptures, sand castles, shadow portraits, and bubble painting.
Campers play the role of detective as they use their evaluation, reasoning and problem-solving skills to figure out mysteries. Acting as investigators, children create secret codes, build detective tools (like binoculars), solve riddles, make disguises, and participate in scavenger hunts.

With Winter fully upon us, it is time to learn from the animals what it means to thrive in the wild. Embark on an adventure to find the resting places of the deer and warm nests of woodrats. Look for antlers, edible greens and mushrooms on the hillsides. Build shelters and try your hand at archery. At the end of a good day spent outdoors, share stories next to a fire made by friction.
