This Years Storybook Ball is all Monkey Business

Who isn't smitten with Curious George? No matter your age, the inquisitive little rascal who always seems to get into one mess after another has captured the heart of the world. Now you and your family can join your favorite literary monkey at this years Storybook Ball complete with all the fun, mischief and mayhem only Curious George fans understand.

As regular users likely know, the quality of the Mill Valley Library's programming for children and teens doesn't happen by accident. It takes a creative, nimble staff, and an incredibly heavy lift from the Mill Valley Library Foundation, among others, to support that creativity.

To maintain and grow that programming, the foundation is back at it again on Sunday, Oct. 7, hosting its hallmark Storybook Ball event, this time built around the theme of the stories of Curious George, the classic children's adventure series by Margret Rey and H.A. Rey. The event is at the Mill Valley Community Center from 3-6pm.

Children up to 10 and their families can spend a fun-filled afternoon at the Mill Valley Community Center featuring S.T.E.A.M.-inspired activities, crafts, food, and live entertainment.
