/Each year, Stern Grove Festival’s admission-free education and outreach programs provide enriching opportunities for thousands of Bay Area children and adults. Designed to inform, engage, and inspire, these programs create a meaningful, personal connection to the arts.
KIDS DAYS
Registration is Open!
Stern Grove Festival's Kids Days are FREE interactive arts education programs for children ages 4-11.
Kids Days are free and open to the public.
Advance registration is required.
Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian (no drop-offs).

KIDS CAMP
In 2019, Stern Grove Festival will present three Kids Camps in Residence.
June 17 - June 21, 2019 at Gene Friend Recreation Center, in collaboration with SFRPD and SoMA Youth Collaborative
June 24 - June 28, 2019 at Joseph Lee Recreation Center
July 22 - 26, 2019 at Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center
Kids Camps are provided free to children participating in the summer programs at these locations.
Local teaching artists will present hands-on, interactive workshops exploring music, dance, and spoken word.
KIDSTAGE
From 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. before every Sunday concert, kids of all ages can experience hands-on art projects, a musical instrument exploration station, and dance workshops with local teaching artists at KidStage in the West Meadow.
The line-up of KidStage events in 2019 will be announced with the 82nd Season.

ARTIST TALKS
Informative pre-concert Artist Talks take place with featured Festival artists at the Grove’s Trocadero Clubhouse on select concert Sundays.
Artist Talks for 2019 will be announced with the 82nd Season line-up.
YOGA IN THE GROVE
Stern Grove Festival presents free on-site yoga classes, provided by instructors from Office Yoga. Yoga classes will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. before each Sunday concert, June 16 – August 11, 2019.

The Stern Grove Festival Association is a non-profit arts presenting organization committed to providing the people of the Bay Area with admission-free access to diverse, outstanding performing arts. Every year since 1938, the organization presents admission-free, outdoor concerts at Stern Grove Festival. A San Francisco tradition, music and nature lovers gather at The Festival to enjoy music, picnicking, and relaxation in a serene meadow surrounded by giant eucalyptus, redwood, and fir trees.
