The Sausalito Art Festival has partnered with two of the Bay Area’s leading childhood creativity experts to bring art-focused experiences for children of all ages, to the Sausalito Art Festival. Bring them to the Bay Area’s biggest celebration of art for people of all ages and by the way, children under age 12 enter for free!

THE BAY AREA DISCOVERY MUSEUM PRESENTS “THE MESSY ART FESTIVAL”

Shibori Dyeing: Inspired by the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Messy Art Fest, we will be getting messy with a creative, hands-on program. Shibori is a traditional Japanese dyeing method dating back to the eighth century! In this program, children will practice the art of Shibori as they dye their own piece of fabric.

Daily from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

MOBILE MAKER CLUB PRESENTS “LET’S MAKE IT!”

The Mobile Maker Club creates activities that enable children to collaborate with their peers in executing the steps required to finish a project and perhaps, to develop valuable life skills and confidence.

What they learn in Mobile Maker Club can also offer them potential insights to future career options.

Daily from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

The festival is located along the beautiful Sausalito waterfront with a new, exciting, refreshed layout and footprint. 

The General Admission ticket includes one-day entry to the Festival. Food, beverages, and parking are not lincluded in the ticket price.
