Quarantine Cinco de Mayo: A Fiesta to Remember

WHAT IS CINCO DE MAYO? 🇲🇽

This celebration commemorates Mexico's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. It’s a relatively minor holiday in Mexico but in the United States, Cinco de Mayo has become a celebration of Mexican culture. Now, with the facts out of the way, let’s get this party started.

Cinco de Mayo falls on a Tuesday this year. That coordinates perfectly with our love of ‘Taco Tuesday.’ Time for families to gather around the dinner table to indulge in some mouthwatering tacos. 😋 But there are other traditional foods that are easy to prepare in addition to your shelter-in-place celebration! Here are some tasty ideas on my menu this year you should try.
