The hills are alive with a new adaptation of Rogers and Hammerstein’s, "The Sound of Music," performed by the Mill Valley Middle School Cabaret. Don't miss seeing this beloved musical morph into a cabaret style spectacle. Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with this toe-tapping rendition of favorites including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “Edelweiss” and, of course, "The Sound of Music." In true Cabaret style, this classic story fills the air with great music while an array of yummy nibbles and flowers will be available for purchase. The night promises many creative twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and entertained.
The Cabaret is directed, produced, and choreographed by a team of creative professionals with lots of student input. Funding for this production is partially provided by Kiddo! All ticket sales, bake sales, and flower sales benefit Mill Valley Middle School Drama.
