Hey KIDDO! Famous4’s 20th Annual Mill Valley Community Block Party

This year’s Mill Valley Community Block Party will include a FREE Concert and Fashion Show, Beer Garden, Food, Kids’ Games and Surprises. This event benefits Kiddo!, Music, Art and After School Programs.  There will also be an opportunity to donate to help support hurricane relief.

 Just Announced! Musical Headliner this year is Jason Crosby & Friends featuring: Jackie Greene on bass, Tim Bluhm on guitar, Greg Loiacono on guitar, John Hofer on drums & Special Guests! 

If Crosby’s name isn’t immediately familiar, his keyboard/violin/guitar playing most likely is. The multi-instrumental virtuoso has toured and recorded with a who’s who of legendary artists, including Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Pete Seeger, Dave Matthews, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Robert Randolph, and Susan Tedeschi among others. Upon landing in California, he took up gigs with Jackie Greene, The Mother Hips, John McLaughlin and Jimmy Herring, and Grateful Dead icons Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, and he soon discovered an audience hungry for the original material he’d begun crafting during his hiatus from the road. Celebrate the debut CD release "Cryptologic" of one of music’s great sideman, Jason Crosby.

Other musical guests on the Block Party bill will be the amazing Kenneth Brian Band with Very Special Guest, one of the world’s greatest drummers, Stephen Ferrone of the Heartbreakers.  Opening the event will be Marin County American Rock band, Last Call Troubadours.

This year the Beer Garden is expanded to include several Local Craft Beer Breweries and Wine. Expect many of Mill Valley’ purveyors of fine eats to be offering food for sale including BooKoo, Sweetwater Music Hall, Piazza D'Angelos and more! The annual Mill Valley Block Party is Produced by Famous4 and sponsored by many downtown local merchants.

Also, always fun for the Kids with facepainting and activities.
