KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

A Rich Tradition: Since its inception in 1957 by a small group of artists exhibiting in downtown store windows, the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival has grown into a cherished annual event. Recognized as the "Best Art Festival of Marin" and "Best Community Event in Southern Marin," the festival has evolved into a cornerstone of the regional arts scene. The non-profit entity, established in 2021, has strengthened their ability to secure grants and endowments, ensuring the festival's legacy for future generations and supporting local high school art students through scholarships. As you consider your annual philanthropic gifts, supporting the Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival would be a wonderful way to ensure the arts remain a cornerstone of our community.

What's New This Year! This year's festival is set to offer more excitement and engagement than ever before. For the first time, tickets purchased will be valid for both days, inviting attendees to fully immerse themselves in the artistic festivities for the full weekend. They have even added a cocktail “Speakeasy” in one of the groves! Additionally, they will be offering shuttle services and easy bicycle access to enhance the visitor experience.

The Heart and Soul of the Festival: The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival stands out not just for its artistic excellence but for the unwavering dedication of our community and artists. Each year, they award six scholarships to promising artists from area high schools, providing them with a cash prize, booth space to show their art and mentorship at no cost. They are proud to announce this year's scholarship winners: Laina Norwood, Plum Lee, Hilary Knowles, Renee Kraemling, Phoenix Kaiser, and Eleanor Lawson. Be sure to visit their booths and support their artistic journeys.
