Tricks, treats, and costume fun — October season brings tons of family-friendly events and activities to The Marin Country Mart. You can celebrate Oktoberfest, pick your own pumpkins, enter their pie contest, see a movie and so much more. Oktoberfest with Suppenküche

Sunday, October 2, 11am-7pm

Suppenküche will be here celebrating Oktoberfest this month and next month as part of Sunday Lunch at the Food Trucks. Join us for traditional food, live music, kids pretzel crafts, and of course plenty of beer! Pretzel and gingerbread crafts, 12-3pm!

WildCare Van

Sunday, October 2, 11:30 AM-1:30 PM

Stop by WildCare’s Nature Van with your little ones to learn about California’s wildlife. This interactive presentation provides children with the opportunity to be hands-on with animals they wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience up close.

10th Annual Pie Baking Contest

Saturday, October 8, 9am-2pm

Join us for Marin Country Mart’s 10th Annual Pie Baking Contest. Bring your proudest pie to the big Farmers Market tent by 10am on the morning of Saturday, October 8th to enter the competition. Winners are announced at 1pm. Free to participate. No need to RSVP, just show up on the day.

Every first Wednesday of the month from 3pm to 5pm. Poppy Store will be hosting fun craft activities for children in the afternoon. Come join us for drinks, snacks, and a special new activity each week! Open to all, no RSVP necessary. All supplies for activities are provided by Poppy Store.

Try-It Truck

Sunday, October 16, 11:30am-1:30pm

Bring your kids to the Try-It Truck at the Marin Country Mart, courtesy of the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito. Children can play in the Imagination Playground, learn at the Take-It-Apart station, test the speeds of different cars at the Testing Ramps, create “flying machines” at the Up, Up and Away station and even build mazes for hexbugs (small, vibrating bug toys). Join us from 11:30am to 1:30pm by the food trucks.
