With recent studies showing that carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has hit record highs and many significant indicators are present in the ocean, weather, and land, below is a list of simple actions you can take to reduce your carbon impact. If everyone even changes their choices for one day, perhaps it will all add up to both a healthier planet and future for our children.
Kier Holmes is a local landscaper who has been designing, consulting and maintaining gardens in Marin for over 15 years. She is also a garden educator at Park Elementary where she encourages discovery, questions and getting hands dirty.
