The highest tides of the year return to the Bay Area. Now is your chance for an interactive learning experience which will teach you about what King Tides are all about! Registration may be required. Please check with event organizer in advance.
Join Naturalist Melissa as we hike through Dotson’s Marsh to witness this season’s King Tides
We’ll observe areas that might be flooded, discover where some birds take shelter, take photos to submit to the CA King Tides Project, and discuss how urban planners hope to protect the future of our shoreline.
Join us for beginner- and family-friendly group bike rides to Ravenswood Preserve to witness the highest tides of the year!
King tides and storms often dump loads of floating trash onto the shoreline this time of year. We can protect wildlife and make our beach a more beautiful place by picking up some of it!
Late fall during high tide is a beautiful time to walk the shoreline, with great views, lots of wildlife to see, and some interesting history to discuss. 3.5 miles of flat walking through diverse landscapes.
