Kier Holmes is a garden designer and writer with bylines in Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, Gardenista, Sonoma Magazine, Marin Magazine and Sunset Magazine. She is also a children's garden and science educator and gives regular talks on various gardening topics to adults at the Mill Valley Public Library. Kier grew up in Mill Valley and has designed and maintained gardens in Marin for over twenty years, focusing on earth-friendly, richly textured, and visually dynamic spaces.
