6 Ways You Can Help Start An Innovative New School In Marin

Ipso School - Empowering Innovators to Change the World

Local educators, parents, and community members are in the process of planning an innovative public charter high school in Marin County. Their proposed school plans to open to 9th graders in the Fall of 2017. They are currently recruiting families and supporters to make this school possible. In particular, they are interested in connecting with current 7th graders.

Ipso means “itself” in Latin, and their model is based on the idea that education should be personalized for each learner. They are starting this school to close opportunity gaps that exist in our community and empower students as innovators to positively change the world. Their flexible schedule allows each student to receive the support they need to achieve, follow their passions, and connect in authentic learning with our community. They will prepare all students, regardless of background, with the knowledge, skills, mindsets, and networks necessary for success in university.
