Creativity and ingenuity have always been the core mission at I Made It! Glass Creations. Our San Rafael studio is packed with exciting projects and learning opportunities. This summer our professional staff has designed an exciting summer camp line up supporting the innovative S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, ART and Math) initiatives in visual art.

Mommy & Me Summer Camp

Specially designed to enhance a quality arts education for campers ages 3-6. Learn to recognize and describe simple patterns and key art concepts of line, color, geometric shapes, texture, value as well as experience the artistic processes while creating original works of art. There are three opportunities to register for this camp: The week of June 25th from 1-2:30pm, the week of July 9th from 10-11:30am and the week of August 6th from 10-11:30am. The cost is $99. All materials are included in this week of FUN!

Wind & Solar Camp

A weeklong camp for campers ages 8-14 where campers creativity will thrive by experiencing the transformation of glass fusing. Cut and design a wind chime and sun catcher with our premium art glass while learning key principles of design and composition, the science behind glass, safe handling of glass and use of studio tools. Two sessions available: The week of June 18th from 10-11:30 am and the week of July 9th from 1-2:30pm. The cost is $125. All materials are included in this week of creativity!

Fuse Glass Face Camp

A weeklong camp created specially for artists ages 8-14. Campers will learn to design and create an expressive facial sculpture using a more complex three-dimensional art media and processes. This camp also includes a sun catcher project. Only two sessions available and booking up fast: The week of June 25th 10-11:30am and the week of July 30th 1-2:30pm. The cost is $99. All materials are included in this fabulous week of self expression!

Intro to Fused Glass Camp

An entry level weeklong camp that will teach young campers all the basics of fused glass. Specially designed for campers ages 5-9, projects include the silver box, sun catcher, coaster, nightlight and bike bell with each lesson building upon the last and have fun while learning a new skill! Three sessions available: The week of June 18th from 1-2:30pm, the week of August 6th from 1-2:30pm and the week of August 13th from 10-11:30am. The cost is $125. All materials are included in this week of hands on experimental exploration!

Intermediate Mixed Media Camp

Created specifically for experienced campers ages 10-15 to take their art to the next level of fused glass art. Learn to work with glass paint, glow-in-the-dark elements and metal inclusions. This camp is designed to really stretch their imagination. Two sessions available: The week of July 16th from 10-11:30am and the week of July 23rd from 1-2:30pm. The cost is $145. All materials are included in this week of self discovery!

Exploring Texture Through Glass

A brand new camp from the Teaching Team at I Made I! Glass Creations will explore the worlds of tack fusing, color theory and textured artworks. Create something new and exciting while learning techniques from master artists. Two sessions available: The week of July 16th from 1-2:30pm and the week of July 23rd from 10-11:30am. The cost is $145. All materials are included in this week of exploration!

Famous Artists and Glass

Campers 8-15 will delve deeper into techniques of famous artists such as Chihuly, Kandinsky and Mondrian through the recreation of famous styles using the medium of fused glass. Learn about the selected artists' compositional and communicative qualities while developing an eye for their own unique artistic style. Two sessions available: The week of July 30th from 10-11:30am and the week of August 13th from 1-2:30pm. The cost is $135. All materials are included in this fun and interactive lesson!
