/Emerging from the pandemic, neighborhood walking tours are being redefined with dramatic twists and turns in Yerba Buena cultural district in San Francisco. The Yerba Buena Art Walk is a new self-guided audio stroll spotlighting the district’s eclectic collection of public art by renowned and emerging artists. Another tour, Hidden SF, is the city’s only walking tour with live performers who sing, pontificate and rabble rouse unexpectedly along the guided route.

Free Hidden SF Walking Tour Features Live Performances
Presenting Hidden SF, a free 90-minute walk around the Yerba Buena neighborhood led by a guide that showcases local history, art, poetry, architecture and activism. Along a route that covers Market Street, Yerba Buena Gardens and historic alleys, actors appear unexpectedly to portray figures that gave the city its unique reputation.
The tour is held every first Friday of the month at 2p.m. Participants are asked to RSVP to info@ybcbd.org for the exact starting location near Market and New Montgomery Street and for other details.
