Welcome once again to the once-a-month animal adoption segment, "First of the Mutt." Ronnie's Awesome List is proud to partner with various rescue organizations around the Bay Area to feature adorable, adoptable, family-friendly animals find their forever home and help your family find a new best friend and fall madly in love.

This big, energetic boy is Ziggy! He's a 2-year-old Bulldog mix who's as solid as they come. Ziggy loves people, is very cuddly, and adores getting belly rubs while he rolls around in bliss. He's treat motivated and isn't picky. He wants to be the only dog in your family - to receive all the love for himself! If you want a strong, handsome man then Ziggy is the companion for you!

This 4-year-old handsome boy in the luxurious gray coat is DeDe! Being new to the neighborhood, he's content lounging in his cat tree, but he'll happily accept a few pets. He is intrigued by toys and is sure to be playful once he gets used to life at home. Come by and meet this sweetie today!

Raz is an affectionate, playful, happy dog looking for a loving new family. This nice fellow enjoys meeting new people and adores playing with soft squeaky toys. He is happy to accept plenty of petting and ear and body scratches, but is not fond of being restrained and hugged. For this reason, older kids would be the best match. Raz enjoys long walks on leash but prefers not to meet strange dogs on his outings. He would be happiest if his people were home most of the time. What a good dog!

Benny was very shy when she first arrived at our shelter. Since then, she has blossomed at Kitty Corner, our small cat adoption center in San Anselmo. She now enjoys meeting new people of all ages, loves head scratches and cuddles, and has fun playing with wand toys. Benny has lived with a dog and another cat, so she may do fine with other pets in her new home. We think Benny will make a sweet companion for a family with calm, older children. Black cats are the best!
