Welcome once again to the once-a-month animal adoption segment, "First of the Mutt." Ronnie's Awesome List is proud to partner with various rescue organizations around the Bay Area to feature adorable, adoptable, family-friendly animals find their forever home and help your family find a new best friend and fall madly in love.

Luna Louise came from a home with young kids, so she should make a nice cat for a family with children. She can be just a tiny bit shy at first, but once she's comfortable in her surroundings she gives head bumps and body rubs, and enjoys cheek scratches, petting and grooming. Since Luna Louise lived with her litter-mate for most of her life, she may do well with another social male cat, if properly introduced. This pretty girl deserves a second chance to find her furrever home with a nice family. ADOPTED

Roxy is so looking for her forever home! Her last guardian described her as a wonderful cat that settled into her home well. She is affectionate but not annoying, very polite and responded well to invitations to engage and play. She will greet you with head rubs and purrs. Roxie lost her previous homes due to allergies, moving and being bullied by resident cats. We think Roxie should be your one and only (no other cats or dogs) and would probably do well with older polite children. She would love a quiet house and a quiet safe catio or patio for lounging in the sunshine. ADOPTED

Popo is cute as can be! This 8-year-old has a big personality and would love to share it with you. He’s looking for a quiet home and an adopter will give him lots of exercise! Popo is an active and inquisitive explorer, and he’d make a great running or hiking buddy.

This big, gorgeous calico girl is named Cheddar. She has a larger-than-life personality and loves playtime! After you tire her out she’ll happily curl up beside you for cuddles. She’s looking for an adults-only home, or one with older children. Come get a wedge of love from Cheddar!
