Christmas Houses: Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

Christmas Houses are a great way to celebrate the holidays. With the latest COVID-19 variant precautions are still in place across the Bay Area, a family-friendly car ride that doubles as a social distancing activity is guaranteed to lift spirits during these strange times. Admire the twinkling, colorful lights from the safety of your car. They're definitely worth the trip.

Off 101 take San Marin Exit West, Left on Center Rd, Left on Devonshire Dr.

The Rombeiro's Christmas House has lifted thousands of holiday spirits year after year. This amazing family are the winners of The Great Christmas Light Fight 2019 and have been bringing big smiles and great memories to families for years. This year the outside of the house will be decorated except the removal of the “picture sleigh”. There will be no inside tours.

Let's Glow SF

December 3-12, 2021, 5:30 PM every night. A free projection mapping event that uses video projection techniques with light and colors to project virtual images from local and international artists onto iconic buildings throughout San Francisco’s Financial District. #LetsGlowSF

Christmas Tree Lane in Alameda is on the 3200 block of Thompson Ave, between High & Fernside.

From about 5:30pm to about 10:00pm. Each house has their own timers, so these are approximate times. Stay in your own cars to enjoy the lights. Follow all county health guidelines, orders and curfews.

Tam Valley MegaTree. The Tam Valley MegaTree is up and running 5-10pm every night. The MegaTree is a 30 foot tall tree of 3000 individually controlled lights that dance to holiday music. You can safely enjoy the tree from your car by tuning into 96.1 FM. We are up and running 5-10 pm nightly with 8 different shows. 340 Jean Street, just off Shoreline 1/2 mile west of Tam Junction, Mill Valley.
