In the final days of summer and for the ninth time since 2015, Flower Piano will once again transform San Francisco Botanical Garden into the city’s own alfresco concert hall where everyone is invited to play and listen.

International Day of Peace Festival is a free week-long celebration, which happens in conjunction with the United Nations International Day of Peace held each September, and has historically offered participants an opportunity to reflect on what Peace means for them individually, as a community and world-wide.
Thursday, September 19th, the City of Antioch Recreation Department will host its 5th Annual Big Truck Day– a day that gives families and kids of all ages an opportunity to learn more about local companies and the large vehicles they use to keep our community safe and green.
The three-day food festival will offer for purchase a wide variety of freshly homemade Greek food, including Spanakopita, Moussaka, Gemista (stuffed peppers), Gyros, and other meat and vegetarian options.
The PCAM Wheels & Wings car show is a unique gathering of meticulously restored classic and muscle cars from every era and description. The cars are parked right next to some of the museum’s high performance historic aircraft which makes for some great photo ops. So bring your camera, your kids and your love of mechanical magnificence. This is a great family weekend event.
