Kid-Friendly Bay Area Whodunnits with Adventurous

Join three super sleuths out for a social distancing, kid-friendly Adventurous escapade. In this caper, they discover the sights and sounds of the Noe Valley neighborhood in San Francisco while solving a mystery of The Pilfered Painting.

It was a dark and stormy night….na, this is San Francisco, it was a lovely sunny morning when our three PI’s ventured out.

Act 1

After receiving our Adventurous Spy Guides by mail we started the morning pouring through the clues while strategizing over a hot cocoa and whipped cream. The curious envelope contained a map, puzzles to solve along with a number to text to crack the crime. Each sleuth took turns reading about the mystery and followed the clues in order to decipher this case.

The reading and vocabulary was perfect for the 9 year olds and slightly challenging for the 7 year old but he persevered. At 10:00am they proceed to the first location in Noe Valley.

Act 2

After a fun time exploring the quaint neighborhood of Noe Valley the plot thickens. Following the clues when this dastardly deed took place, the three super sleuths stopped occasionally to interrogate witnesses and gather evidence of the crime scene while answering texts to get the next clue. Everyone was under suspicion.

Act 3

Clearly someone is guilty and by noon we had solved the mystery, identified the culprit and completed the investigation. And they would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for us meddling kids. But we’re not going to spill the beans….you’ll have to find out more on your own. All you need is and an Adventurous Kit, clever observation, a cellphone and kid wit.

We ended our adventure in Noe Valley Square for a well earned lunch to talk about our next case.
