San Francisco Bay Osprey Days, A fun and informative weekend celebrating Bay osprey with guided walks and driving tours, boat trips, science and educational presentations, “fish-food”-fish tacos for lunch and an evening wine and snacks gathering around the campfire at the Preserve visitor center, Mare Island Preserve, Vallejo.

Maker Mornings, 9am – 12pm, 6th-12th graders, Work on a variety of hands on projects including making a finger piano and open crafting, Novato Library.

Pasados del Presidio - Afternoon Fun for Kids, 12-3pm, Watch history come to life! Kids can enjoy hands-on activities, storytelling, living history, a visit with Juanito the Donkey, archaeology, pottery making, and more. Afternoon music and dance by Ballet Folklórico Mexicano. Presidio Officers' Club, San Francisco.

Yerba Buena Festival, 12-1pm, Circus Bella – Bay City Rhapsody San Francisco.

Green Art Workshop: Whimsical Weavings, 3:30 – 4:30pm, grades 3-5, Weave a colorful tapestry using found materials such as jeans, t-shirts, maps, books, cereal boxes, and more! In this creative re-use workshop, you will learn how to make a simple loom and re-purpose favorite garments and other household items into unique artworks, Mill Valley Library.

DIY Bath Bombs, 3:30 – 5:30pm, A DIY project for teens. Make your own fizzy, fragrant bath bombs, and learn about the chemical reaction that makes them do their thing! Civic Center Library.

San Francisco Bay Osprey Days, A fun and informative weekend celebrating Bay osprey with guided walks and driving tours, boat trips, science and educational presentations, “fish-food”-fish tacos for lunch and an evening wine and snacks gathering around the campfire at the Preserve visitor center, Mare Island Preserve, Vallejo.

Build an ROV, 10am and 1pm, ages 4-10, learn about the important parts of an ROV and how they help scientists discover the mysteries of the deep ocean. They will watch real footage from deep-sea submersible explorations taken in the marine sanctuaries along the California coast.
