Birds and History at Rush Creek, 10am – 12pm, Meet a ranger for a hike at Rush Creek Preserve. We’ll learn about the birds and animals that live in the area as well as some of the colorful history of the preserve. This event is ideal for all ages. Degree of difficulty: Easy. Nature for Kids: Indian Valley, 10am – 1pm, We’ll start the day looking for bugs and lizards, and if we’re lucky we might even find young frogs or toads that are looking for a cool, moist place to hide for the summer. After that we’ll head into the forest which is also a good place to find wildlife. Remember to bring lunch. Meet at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus in Novato, parking lot 6 (1800 Ignacio Blvd).
