Saturday, October 21, Orionids Meteor Shower

Goblin Jamboree, 10am-4pm, explore the haunted wonderland complete with games, attractions and live entertainment. Enroll in the witches’ school, take a train or pony ride, visit the petting zoo and enjoy a full brew of games, activities and live entertainment, Bay Area Discovery Museum.

Non-Spooky Halloween Carnival, 10am-2pm, Fun for preschool through elementary aged children! This preschool friendly event is open to the public so bring your friends for games, prizes, food, a photo booth and arts and crafts. (Non-scary) costumes welcome! Circling Las Gallinas Ponds, 10am-1pm, Take a stroll around Las Gallinas Ponds and observe the waterfowl that inhabit the area. We’ll look for a variety of ducks, egrets, herons, and White Pelicans! It is not all about birds. We’ll also look for River Otters who are often seen swimming in the ponds, or maybe a muskrat. Meet at Las Gallinas Ponds trailhead.

Celebrate the Season with Crafts and Stories, 10am-12pm, Kids and parents are invited for a magical morning of stories and crafts celebrating the fall season and, of course, Halloween. You will leave with tips for telling your own stories, and ideas for more projects to make together, Marin Art & Garden Center, Ross.

Halloween Family Workshop, 10am-12pm, Drop-in anytime from 10-12pm for a fun hands-on family workshop making spooky creations. $5 per family suggested donation. Makers under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Makers over the age of 14 are welcome too! Makerspace Media Studio, Novato.

Paola Gianturco - Wonder Girls, 4pm, Paola and her eleven-year-old granddaughter documented the work of fifteen girl-led nonprofit groups in thirteen countries in Asia and Central Asia, North and Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania. They interviewed and photographed 90 girls. If you think “girls are the future,” prepare to be dazzled. These girls are changing our world right now, Book Passage, Corte Madera.

Boo Bash, 5-7PM - Trick or Treat down Tiburon's Main Street with our downtown merchants, Follow the jack-o-lantern lit trail to Belvedere Park for a carnival & movie in the park beginning at 7pm sharp.

Squid for Squirts, 1pm, Obsessed by octopuses? Intrigued by ink? Tickled by tentacles? Delve into the watery world of cephalopods! Watch squid and octopus films. Learn about Humboldt squid adaptations through our naturalist led dissection.
