The San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce and the Town of San Anselmo are thrilled to be bringing back a night of magic and whimsy on the Avenue. Please join us at Imagination Park at 5:00pm on December 7th to really get yourself in the holiday spirit. Besides the lighting itself, there are free refreshments - free cocoa and cookies, opening ceremony by the Pack 50 Cub scouts, seasonal music with the Archie Williams Jazz Band, free train rides, and selfies with the man himself from the North Pole. Please don't be late as Santa arrives promptly at the beginning of the event! This is a magical and old-fashioned event for ALL AGES that you do not want to miss!
For the third year in a row an electric trackless train adorned with festive lights will be taking people on free rides up and down the Avenue from 4:00-7:30pm.
In conjunction with the Tree Lighting, San Anselmo Avenue will be closed (from Tunstead to Tamalpais) to traffic from 3:00-8:00pm on December 2nd. Before or after stopping by to see Santa, we encourage you to do some local holiday shopping and then stop off at one of our delectable downtown eateries to fill your belly. Let’s shop local and be merry together!
