Rosh Hashanah Family Festival

  • JCCSF 3200 California Street San Francisco, CA, 94118 United States (map)

Bring in the New Year with the celebratory and soulful sounds of the shofar followed by live music by Jonathan Bayer and the Adar Brass band.  Drop by for kid-friendly crafts hosted by PJ Library and Jewish Baby Network and explore holiday traditions for all ages with local artists and educators.  Refresh your spirit with awakening vibrations by moving with laughter yoga, finding your rhythm with Drummm and learning about buzzing bees with the SF Bee Keepers Association.  Set your intentions for the New Year and of course, enjoy apples, honey and sweet flavors of the season.

10:00 am – 12:30 pm:  Rosh Hashanah rituals, kid-friendly crafts, laughter yoga, drum circle, bee exploration and holiday flavors

11:30 am: Live musical performance with Jonathan Bayer and the Adar Brass Band

Donate non-perishable food and household goods at JFCS’s Annual High Holidays Food Drive to help thousands of people in our community struggling with food insecurity. We’ll have a collection bin in our atrium beggining August 18 and continuing through October.
