Join bestselling author and illustrator Yuval Zommer for a fun, hands-on nature art workshop to celebrate the launch of The Big Book of Nature Art, the newest entry in the Big Book series! The easy craft projects in this workshop encourage children to find the creative potential in everyday treasures around us—from twigs, seed pods, petals, and leaves to pencil shavings, paper cups, yarn, cardboard tubes, kitchen string, and recyclable cutlery. Using natural, recycled, and found materials, young nature artists will get to connect creatively with nature and create paper-plate birds, leaf bugs, coffee-cup owls, tree bark bats, and schools of seashell fish, as well as imaginative backgrounds for their creatures. Ages 4-8
