It’s time to become a sand scientist! In this workshop, participants will learn about the importance of sand from our naturalists who will lead activities that you can do at home or explore with sand in your own backyard! You will see different samples of sand under microscopes, learn about the animals (big and small) that live in the sand and between the sand grains, and even though we can’t meet in person, our resident naturalist will give you a sneak peak into the sand at Crissy Field Beach!

Cost: Onsite workshops are $15 per participant, however to support our hardworking families, we will be offering our VIRTUAL workshops at NO COST.
