Join Marin County Parks staff and fellow volunteers to spruce-up Village Green Park in the town of Stinson. This community park sits adjacent to Stinson Beach, one of Marin County's most renowned beaches. The park provides recreational opportunities and popular gathering spaces for tourists and local visitors alike. We’ll work on landscape improvement projects to keep the park in tip-top shape.

Volunteer work is mildly strenuous and involves bending, pulling, and kneeling and hiking on steep and uneven terrain. All ages are welcome; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Please bring gloves if you have them. Snacks and extra water will be provided. In the event of heavy rain and/or high winds call (415) 763-2977 to find out about event status. In the event of cancellation, program will be rescheduled.
