Tutors for All: A Virtual Benefit Concert Starring Megan Schoenbohm

Will you join us in supporting a good cause and helping provide equity to our community? Covid-19 is forcing schools to do distance learning for the foreseeable future, and we're looking to provide support to underserved kids in Marin to get them through this crisis.

Children’s music recording artist, Megan Schoenbohm has teamed up with the families in the Marin County Covid Homeschool Micro School +Pod Resource & Matching Group and Marin tutoring companies Tutor Corps and Sage Educators to raise money in order to provide free tutoring for under resourced kids in Marin County.

All proceeds from the concert will go towards providing 20 under-resourced students from Marin with three hours of weekly 1:1 tutoring for the rest of the year while schools engage in distance learning. Two spaces are reserved specifically for foster children in Marin, who have been removed from their biological families due to abuse and/or neglect, and are under additional distress during SIP through no fault of their own while they engage in distance learning in foster homes. (Thank you Marin Foster Care Association for helping coordinate.) We need to raise $25,000 by August 10th to guarantee services for the remainder of the year.

Tutor Corps and Sage Educators Foundation will cover all administrative and management costs of the scholarship program so 100% of your donation goes directly to providing tutoring services for the kids. This is a virtual concert so there is no limit to how many tickets you can buy and anyone can join from anywhere! Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $40 or $400. Every little bit helps!

Thank you for your support! Any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you!!!
