Tricycle Music Fest: Alphabet Rockers

  • Merced Library 155 Winston Drive San Francisco, CA, 94132 United States (map)

Rock out this fall as we kick off our twelfth annual Tricycle Music Fest! Families are invited to the Library for unique early literacy experience. We are excited to host some of the best Grammy® winning and nominated artists in the category of children’s music. Plus, after each event, one lucky concertgoer will win a shiny red tricycle to roll away in style.

This year’s lineup includes the change making music of 2023 Grammy® award winners, Alphabet Rockers, with a kickoff concert the Merced Branch Library. They will also rock the the east side at Bernal Heights. Next up is a library favorite local band, La Familia Peña-Govea, who will be performing at Excelsior during Sunday Streets. The following weekend, catch them at Richmond Branch.

Proving that music and reading go hand in hand, 2015 Latin Grammy® winner and best-selling author, Lucky Diaz, will be sharing his music and writing at the Main Library and a special park performance at Parque Ninos Unidos (23nd St and Treat Ave).

Tricycle Music Fest wraps up with the progressive funk of Bay Area’s very own, Purple Fox and the Heebie Jeebies. They’ll share their sweet sounds at Portal Branch and give an encore performance the same day at Park Branch Open House.
