Join us for a summer series of rides to build confidence on Marin’s mountain biking trails. Skilled mountain bikers and veterans of Marin’s off-road trails will offer tips and techniques for beginners and teach riders proper trail etiquette, how to improve balance, read the trail and pick a line, and safely navigate switchbacks as well as other trail features in order to build confidence and skill. Locations will alternate between the Stafford Lake Bike Park and 3 different locations of progressive difficulty in Marin.
This event is ideal for 10 and up though riders of all ages are welcome. Degree of difficult: Easy. Wear comfortable athletic clothing and sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring your bike, helmet, and pads. We’ll provide water and healthy snacks. We request that no pets (except service animals) attend.
High fire danger cancels: Call (415) 473-7191 to get an update on fire danger status and land closures. If a "Red Flag" warning is in effect, all walks and events on Open Space District preserves are cancelled.
